Cutting marble slab with tile saw.
Hold the marble tile that you re cutting against the edge of the fence to see where it lines up with your saw.
Cut the marble with the finished side facing downwards onto your piece of foam.
However there are two other methods you may choose for this material.
Turn on the saw when you are ready to use it feed the marble slowly into the saw until you reach about 1 3 in 2 5 7 6 cm and then stop.
Water bottle or if possible a hose the diamond blade cuts much faster and better if used with a constant stream of water.
You can use an ordinary circular saw equipped with a diamond blade to wet cut your marble.
Saw blades usually cut out 1 8 inch 0 32 cm from your material so make sure your blade is on the scrap side of your line.
If you don t have a wet saw available you can cut stone tile with a manual hacksaw.
Mark your cutting line on wide tape direct a trickle of water onto the front of the blade and then make your cut.
Poking a small hole in the cap of a bottle of water is a great option if a hose is not available.
Using a wet tile saw helps to ensure that you don t shatter the stone or marble tile.

It s not that hard.
Either will work but the wet cut circular saw will produce very little dust thanks to a small tube that drizzles.
As with ceramic tiles you can use a tile nipper tile cutter or electric wet saw to cut stone tiles.
Remember to wear your gloves and eye and ear protection.
Making a small cut on the back of the marble ensures the slab does not chip or break.
Choose either a standard circular saw or a wet cut circular saw to cut granite.
